Wooden Block Activities: Build Stories, Not Just Towers

• Stickers or small pictures (optional)

How to Play

Start by building a simple structure with your child. As you stack each block, add an element to your story. "Once upon a time, there was a tall tower..." Let your child add the next block and the next part of the story.

For Younger Children (0-2)

Keep it simple! Name colors and shapes as you stack. "Here's a red block. Now a blue block on top!" The repetition builds vocabulary.

For Older Children (3-6)

Create characters that live in your block structures. Ask open-ended questions: "Who lives in this castle? What do they like to eat?"
